Christmas Day

This Christmas was pretty special with the addition of Anna.
Patty and Anna both got cowboy boots from Santa and look adorable in them.
Patty's parents came over for lunch on their way to Colorado to visit family.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we went to Chattanooga to visit my Uncle Lee and Aunt Lou. They had to spend Christmas in the hospital because my uncle had unexpected surgery a few days before, but he is on his way to recovery. It was the first time they met Anna.

After the hospital visit, we went to my sister Linda's house to share our annual Christmas Eve meal with my family. My sister Kathy had a cold, so we made her wear a bandana over her face when she held Anna. It was pretty comical.

Linda, my sister, had her arms full with Anna and her two dogs and Tammy was quite comfortable holding Anna.

On the way home, we drove through one of the worst rain storms I can remember. I was driving about 45 mph while all the way Anna slept without ever noticing.

1 Month Old

It's official, Anna was 1 month old on Wednesday. It feels like just yesterday we were brining her home from the hospital. We took her to the doctor for 1 month check up. She is now 8 lb. 12 oz. and 21 1/2" long. The doctor said she was growing right on schedule.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Patty's family came over to our house for Thanksgiving. Anna's cousins, Zoe, Lilly and Cassie came dressed as Indians. We have a lot to be thankful for this year.
